Running For Office
Change doesn't happen on its own. Whether you're concerned about federal budgetary allocations or fixing potholes and repairing stop signs, we need candidates who can carry the Democratic message forward at all levels of government.
The Coweta County Democratic Party exists to find, recruit, support, and elect candidates for city, county, and state office. Many of us have run for office before and can share our experience and help you build the tools to mount a campaign.
Specific requirements vary by office, but if you live in Coweta and want to run on Democratic principles, we'll help you get on the ballot. Whether it's as a city council member, mayor, county commissioner, or member of the Georgia General Assembly you can change the lives of everyone in your community for the better.
